Faridabad/Alive News: The Department of Communication and Media Technology at J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, has started its Winter Internship Program. The fifteen-day internship will run from December 26, 2025, to January 9, 2026. A total of 40 students from the department’s Sanchaar Club and Drishya Club are taking part in the program.
The internship aims to give students practical experience in different areas of media. During the program, students will learn photography, videography, editing, page making, typing, designing, graphics, animation, 3D work, and filmmaking.
The inauguration ceremony was held at the Media Department studio. Prof. Sanjay Kaushik, Vice-Chancellor of Gurugram University, attended as the Chief Guest, while Prof. Rajive Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of J.C. Bose University, was the Guest of Honour. Filmmaker, author, and photojournalist Shivani Pandey was present as a special guest. Several deans, faculty members, and the Head of the Department, Prof. Pawan Singh, were also present.
Addressing the students, Prof. Sanjay Kaushik explained the importance of combining theory with practical work through simple and inspiring stories. He said that the goal of Viksit Bharat 2047 depends on the hard work and passion of the youth. He advised students to use words responsibly and said that internships help prepare students for tough future competition.
Prof. Rajive Kumar said that internships play an important role in developing practical skills and help students face challenges in the fast-changing media world. He wished the students success in their training.
Special guest Shivani Pandey encouraged students to explore the real media world through hands-on work with cameras, editing, and print media. She said that despite technological changes, the main responsibility of media professionals should always be public welfare and social awareness.
Prof. Pawan Singh welcomed the guests by presenting saplings, books, and mementos. He shared that the department has been organizing summer and winter internships for the past three years. Along with technical training, expert lectures will also be arranged during the program.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Assistant Professor Sonia Hooda. The program was conducted by Tanishka Nanda, President of Sanchaar Club, while Palak Arora, President of Drishya Club, and Richa Jain shared their experiences.
