Faridabad/Alive News: 77th Independence Day was celebrated in MEC Convent School on 14th August with great enthusiasm. The school campus was beautifully decorated with flags and balloons to commemorate the day. students took part in various programs.
In the presence of a gleeful gathering, Principal Swati Taneja addressed the students about paying homage to the brave martyrs of the country. Speeches were delivered by the students following beautiful dance performances by the Kindergarten and Senior Standard students.
A patriotic play was also enacted by the students of Primary Standard depicting the importance of women in all three forces. Principal and Director Rita Taneja thanked the Guests of Honour Priyanka, Rashmee Mahajan, Ravish Taneja and Shravan for gracing the occasion with their presence. The program ended by singing the National Anthem.
