Faridabad/Alive News: Manav Sanskar Public school, Dheeraj Nagar, proudly celebrated Kargil Vijay Diwas and Hariyali Teej commemorating the spirit of patriotism and cultural heritage through a vibrant and meaningful program held in the school premises. The event was hosted by Ms. Rupam and Students of Class 9th.
The event began with a solemn tribute to the brave soldiers who laid down their lives during the Kargil War. Students presented patriotic songs, speeches, and a heart-touching skit depicting the sacrifices of our heroes, evoking a strong sense of national pride among all present.
The school was adorned in green hues to celebrate Hariyali Teej symbolizing nature and festivity. Students showcased traditional folk dances and songs, highlighting the rich cultural values of Indian traditions. A house-wise competition was also organized, including performances in poetry, dance, and fancy dress, focusing on both patriotic and festive themes. The competition fostered teamwork, creativity, and healthy spirit among students.
The event was graced by the Principal Dr. Kaumudi Bhardwaj who in her address emphasized the importance of remembering our national heroes and staying rooted in our cultural values. She encouraged students to imbibe the values of courage, respect, and gratitude.
Director Mr. Yogesh Sharma also addressed the gathering and appreciated the enthusiastic participation of students. He inspired the young minds to be proud citizens and stay connected to their roots.
The celebration concluded with the National Anthem marking a day filled with learning.
