Faridabad/Alive News: Manav Sanskar Public School celebrated Rakshabandhan and Janmashtami with great excitement and festive spirit.
The day began with Rakhi-making activities for the tiny tots of Nursery, LKG, and UKG. The little children used colourful threads, beads, and decorative items to make beautiful rakhis.
Students from Class 1 to 5 took part in poem recitation, storytelling, and Janmashtami-themed art competitions. Meanwhile, Class 6 to 10 students showcased their talent through role plays, group dances, and skits based on the life and teachings of Lord Krishna.
The school was decorated with flowers, peacock feathers, and colourful rangolis, creating a lively and festive atmosphere. Principal Dr. Kaumudi Bhardwaj spoke about the meaning of Raksha Bandhan as a bond of love and protection, and Janmashtami as a symbol of truth, devotion, and righteousness. Director Mr. Yogesh Sharma encouraged students to follow the values of brotherhood, unity, and moral strength in their lives.
The event ended with bhajan singing and a vote of thanks, leaving everyone with happy memories of the celebration.
