Manav Rachna University organized at dialogue program

Faridabad/Alive News: Chief Minister Shri Manohar Lal was answering questions in the ‘Samvad’ program at Manav Rachna University, Faridabad on Saturday.

The Chief Minister said that 22 January is a historic day for all of us. He stressed the importance of lighting lamps in every house on this day. Highlighting the achievements of the state government in the last nine years, the Chief Minister said that we have worked for the development of the common people with the spirit of Antyodaya. He said that he has understood the ground problems of the farmers and has worked to solve them.

Answering a question, Chief Minister Shri. Manohar Lal said that 9 years ago the sex ratio of girls in the state was 871. After this, successful campaigns like Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao were run and today the sex ratio of the state has reached 932. Chief Minister Manohar Lal further said that corruption, crime and caste-based politics have been eliminated in Haryana. The establishment of the Anti-Corruption Bureau has led to strict action against individuals involved in corrupt practices. He highlighted the continuous efforts to promote natural farming instead of traditional methods for the development of farmers.

He said that it is our moral duty to save water for the coming generations, hence we appealed to the farmers to reduce the paddy crop and also provided financial assistance to the farmers adopting alternative crops. He said that in the last 9 years we have given Rs 20 lakh. Assistance of Rs 11,000 crore to farmers.

Many dignitaries including the Union Minister of State for Power and Heavy Industries were present on this occasion.
