KUK’s Learning Support Centre started at J.C. Bose University

Faridabad/Alive News: J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, organized the inaugural ceremony of the Counselling Programme of the Learning Support Centre (LSC), Kurukshetra University (KUK), on October 1, 2025, at Vivekanand Auditorium of the University. This event was held in collaboration with KUK’s Centre for Distance and Online Education, following a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two institutions.

The ceremony was attended by distinguished dignitaries, including Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Ranga, Registrar, KUK; Prof. (Dr.) Atul Mishra, Dean, Academic Affairs; Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Dimri, Dean, Students’ Welfare; and Prof. Arvind Gupta, Chairperson, Department of Mechanical Engineering. External experts Dr. Jitender Acharya and Dr. Kuldeep Singh, along with research scholars and students, were also present.

Prof. (Dr.) Divyajyoti Singh, Chairperson, Department of Literature and Languages, extended a warm welcome to the attendees. Prof. Ajay Ranga, in his address, underscored the robust academic collaboration between KUK and J.C. Bose University, urging students to seize the opportunities available for their academic and professional growth. He formally declared the Counselling Session open.

Dr. Jitender Acharya and Dr. Kuldeep Singh, the guest experts, highlighted the significance of interdisciplinary learning for holistic student development. They introduced KUK’s diverse Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online programmes, including certificate, diploma, and advanced diploma courses in Computer Applications, Management, Mass Communication, and internationally recognized language courses in German, French, and Japanese.

Prof. Divyajyoti Singh emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary education in today’s fast-evolving world. The session was highly interactive, with students actively engaging and having their queries addressed regarding the various programmes.
