The 17th day long ongoing Khadi & Gramodyog an exhibition was concluded here in sector-7 Huda market today. On this occasion as a chief guest Vinayak Kumar Saxena director of Khadi & Gramodyog commission was present, while the programme was headed by Krishan pal Gurjar, similarly a special guest, Chief Parliamentary Secretary MLA Seema Trikha, MLA Moolchand Sharma and ex-president of Khadi & Gramodyog, Lakshmidas were present over there.
Addressing to the gathering on this occasion, Mr. Vinayak Kumar Saxena said Khadi & Gramodyog commission, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises is an organization of Indian government, which has three prime aims as to provide employment is a social objective, the economic objective of producing salable goods, and finally to create sense of self-dependent among public is broad objective.
He further said, about Rs- 900 hundred crore annually is produced of Khadi products in across the country every year and around 12.50 lakh employees are doing job in the field. He added 98 organizations of Khadi are here in Haryana state and about Rs-105 crore of Khadi products are being produced every year, similarly more than 34 thousand employees are associated with the organization.
Mr. Saxena said a decision of applying a Solar Charkha has been taken, so that in functionality of craftsman and their income could be uplift.
In the meantime director of the exhibition V.K Nagar briefly describe about Khadi products, he said Haryana state Khadi & Gramodyog unit along with its neighboring states also participated in the exhibition. Motive of an installing of the exhibition is to help in marketing field, so that more people should be aware about Khadi product and they could know about purity and quality of the khadi products, moreover associated workers could be benefited.
In the exhibition, yarn spinning, yarn knitting, hand paper-making and woodwork was mainly live broadcasted. Similarly, a statue of Gandhi was installed there just because of the visitors memorizing as a selfie with Gandhi Ji.
However, a specialty came to see in the exhibition. Usually, famous models are invited in any programme, but in this programme, fashion show was organized by artisan working in the Khadi Gramodyog.
