Faridabad/Alive News : J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, organized an expert lecture today to commemorate World Quantum Day, focusing on Albert Einstein’s iconic equation, E=mc², and its relation to the energy released in atomic bombs. The event featured a thought-provoking talk titled “Einstein, E=mc² & The Atom Bomb” by eminent physicist Dr. Ajoy Ghatak, former Professor of Physics at IIT Delhi.
The session commenced with a warm welcome by Prof. Maneesha Garg, Director (R&D), followed by an introduction highlighting Prof. Ghatak’s distinguished academic career and contributions to physics.
In his lecture, Prof. Ghatak explored the historical, scientific, and ethical aspects of E=mc², connecting its theoretical roots to its role in the development of atomic weapons.
