Faridabad/Alive News: JC Bose University of Science and Technology celebrated Lohri and Makar Sankranti celebrations with great fervour. The University’s Staff Club organized a special program for staff members, which was presided over by Vice-Chancellor Prof. SK Tomar.
The event was celebrated with bonfire, folk songs, cultural performances, DJ, and fun games. The staff members were totally absorbed in the festive spirit of the festival and took part in the celebrations enthusiastically. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sushil Kumar Tomar said that it is important to keep the traditions alive with festivals.
Sweety Tomar, the custodian of the Staff Club also spoke on this occasion. Dean Institutions Prof. Sandeep Grover, Vice-Presidents of Staff Club Prof. Sonia Bansal and Prof. Anju Gupta was also present on this occasion. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the event and appreciated the effort put in by the Staff Club to make the day so memorable.
