Faridabad/Alive News: J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, in collaboration with Haryana Institute of Public Administration (HIPA), Gurugram, organised a three-day training workshop on e-office, to enhance administrative efficiency and promote digital governance practices within the University. As many as 30 participants including administrative officers and dealing officials attended the workshop.
Dr. Meha Sharma, Registrar of the University, stressed the significance of transitioning towards a paperless and efficient administrative system. He emphasised the importance of e-Office in reducing paperwork, streamlining processes, and ensuring transparency in administrative operations. Resource persons from HIPA, Gurugram and NIC were invited to give theory and practical knowledge on e-Office.
The training sessions were conducted by course coordinator Dr. Devender Singh, Associate Professor, HIPA, Gurugram, Kashmir Singh, e-Office Administrator, Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority (FMDA), Kushagra Sharma, NIC, Delhi, and Ms Jyoti Gupta, Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) who provided insights into the various features and benefits of e-Office.
The program coordinator, Sh Vishal Kumar, Assistant Registrar, was also present during the training program. The training is a significant initiative by the University Administration to promote transparency, increase accountability, and promote greater coordination in the workplace.
Sessions on various topics related to e-Office like Introduction to e-Office, and its Application, e-file, Creating draft in e-office, e-signing, Conversion of Physical File to e-file etc. were taken. Feedback from participants was also taken at the end of the workshop.
