Faridabad/Alive News : To cater to the growing demand for high-quality visual content for various media platforms , JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, has introduced skill-oriented B.Sc. Degree Program in Visual Communication and Multimedia Technology. The Program is being started under the Department of Communication and Media Technology with an intake of 30 seats as per the provisions of the National Education Policy 2020.
Detailing about the Program, the Chairperson of the Department of Communication and Media Technology, Dr. Pawan Singh said that the program is focused on the study of visual communication, including graphic design, typography, photography, and illustration. Students learn how to create effective visual messages and communicate ideas through various mediums. The program will offer hands-on learning opportunities, including studio classes, workshops, and internships. Students will have access to state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, such as design and Animation software like Autodesk Maya, Blender, Pencil 2D, Adobe Animate etc., digital cameras, state of art Media Studio.
In addition to visual communication, the program will also cover multimedia technology, including web design, animation, video production, and interactive media. Students will learn how to use the latest software and tools to create engaging multimedia content. The curriculum of the program is designed to meet the needs of the industry, with courses that cover topics such as branding, advertising, marketing, and user experience design.
After completion of the program, students will be able to pursue careers in the industry including animation and graphics, gaming, advertising, marketing, publishing, web design, multimedia production, and filmmaking. They can also work as graphic designers, web developers, multimedia specialists, art directors, animators and 3D Editors.
The admissions are open for various other courses under the Department of Communication and Media Technology including B.Sc. (Visual Communication and Multimedia Technology), B.A. (Journalism and Mass Communication), Bachelor of Social Work, and M.A. (Journalism and Mass Communication). The admission portal will remain open up to June 06, 2023.
