Janmashtami festival was celebrated with enthusiasm in ISKCON Temple

Faridabad/Alive News: ISKCON Faridabad radiated with divine splendor as thousands of devotees and well-wishers came together to celebrate the appearance day of Lord Krishna, Janmashtami, with boundless enthusiasm and joy.

Krishna, whose name signifies “the All-Attractive,” captivates hearts with his beauty, strength, knowledge, fame, renunciation, and wealth, all of which he possesses in infinite abundance. On this sacred day, the Supreme Personality of Godhead incarnated to draw all souls closer to Him and rekindle their long-lost connection.

The auspicious day began with the Mangal Aarti at 4:30 AM, followed by the chanting of the Maha Mantra, “Hare Krishna Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare Hare, Hare Rama Hare Hare, Rama Rama Hare Hare,” from 5:30 to 7:30 am. Darshan Aarti at 8 AM and enlightening Krishna Katha further deepened the spiritual experience.

Throughout the day, devotees engaged in mesmerizing kirtans and participated in the Abhishek of the Lord, offering their devotion and love. These heartwarming events were live-streamed on YouTube for a global audience to join in the celebration.

Temple President Gopiswar Das expressed, “Krishna’s divine presence graced Vrindavan, but the tireless efforts of ISKCON’s founder, Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, carried Krishna’s message worldwide, establishing 108 temples in various countries. Our newly built temple in Faridabad aims to evoke the spirit of Vrindavan.

The Janmashtami celebrations at ISKCON Sector 37 Faridabad were a testament to the enduring love and devotion that devotees hold for Lord Krishna. As His divine message continues to touch hearts across the globe, ISKCON Faridabad stands as a beacon of spirituality and devotion, welcoming all to partake in Spritual ecstasy.
