Faridabad/Alive News: J.C. Bose University celebrated Radio Fiesta 2024 on the occasion of World Radio Day. This year’s theme was Radio: A Century of Informing, Entertaining and Educating. On this occasion the department organized RJ Hunt competition.
A total of 83 entries were received for this competition from all the departments of the university. The competition was coordinated by Dr. Pawan Singh, Chairman of the Department of Promotion. The participants were judged on the basis of a round in which they had to speak on a given topic for a minimum of two to a maximum of five minutes. The students participated with full enthusiasm.
Through this competition the students gained extensive practical experience and insight. RJ Hunt’s result declared. In the RJ Hunt Competition, Sagar of MA (JMC) 1st year won the first prize, Mansi of BA (JMC) 2nd year won the 2nd prize and Yash of B.Voc 3rd year won the consolation prize.
The winners received exciting prizes. The Chairperson appreciated the efforts put in by the participants and faculty members and also promised to organize more practical demonstration competitions for the students in future. The program was conducted by Dr. Bharat Dhiman, Assistant Professor of the department.
