Faridabad/Alive News : J.C. Bose University’s Department of Communication and Media Technology organized an educational trip for the students of Animation and Multimedia to the National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA).
Students were blown away by the magnificent artwork of the artists. Artists like “Amrita Shergill” who once said, “She can’t draw anywhere but only in India”. Her artwork is mostly dedicated to the very inspiring and encouraging women of India. In one of her art pieces, she demonstrates the feeling of a little who is getting married by a blank expression of the girl who is laid on charpai.
The students there got to explore other famous artists such as ‘Nandalal Bose’, famous for his artworks which reflect the Indian culture; ‘Rabindranath Tagore’ and his nephew, ‘Gaganendranath Tagores’ artwork seemed to be mysterious to the students since the depth in their artwork is majestic; and ‘Nicholas Roerich’, known for his detailed artwork which can even hypnotize you and make it look real.
The students were awestruck after exploring the world of art. Also, many of the artworks left them thinking and understanding the concept since few of them brain twisting.
The students got to delve into the arts as it was a new perspective & Vision of an individual expressed through the beautiful artistry of pencil and colours. After every step, they made in the Gallery.
The trip was organized by the Department of Communication and Media Technology (CMT) and executed under the supervision of the Chairperson of the CMT Department, Dr. Pawan Singh Malik.
