International Yoga Day celebrated at D.A.V. school NH-3

Faridabad/Alive News : As every year, this year too, International Yoga Day celebrated with great enthusiasm on June 21st in the premises of D.A.V. Public School NH-3. On this occasion, a special program was organized by the school’s Sports and Yoga Departments with the aim of making everyone aware of the importance of yoga and promoting a healthy lifestyle. The event saw active participation from the school principal, teachers, parents, and students.

The program began with the chanting of the Gayatri Mantra in the morning. After that, the school’s Hindi teacher highlighted the historical significance, scientific aspects, and relevance of yoga in modern life. She emphasized that yoga is not just physical exercise; it is an art of living a disciplined life. Following this, the trained yoga instructor, Mrs. Vijaylakshmi guided everyone through various yoga asanas, pranayama, and meditation techniques. All the participants, including children, teachers, and parents, engaged in yoga practice with full dedication.

The students, teachers, and parents highly appreciated the event and made a resolution to practice yoga daily. At the end of the program, the school principal, Mrs. Jyoti Dahiya spoke about the importance of yoga and encouraged the students to adopt regular yoga practice, disciplined routines, and balanced diets. The principal also expressed gratitude to all the attendees, the organizing team, and especially the yoga instructor.

This International Yoga Day event proved to be enlightening, inspiring, and a great way to raise awareness about health. It delivered the message that daily yoga practice is the key to a healthy life. The program concluded with a peace prayer, and fruits were distributed to the students at the end.
