Faridabad/Alive News: International dance day celebrated at DAV Public School NH-3 NIT. This day is celebrated to give value to this spectacular art form. We believe that the power of dance is limitless.
DAVians passionately commemorated this day through a special assembly on the 28th of April 2025 wherein students of Nur. to Grade 2, I participated enthusiastically to rejoice in the dance to inculcate interest and respect among the students for all dance forms, be it Classical or Western. The assembly featured a variety of dance performances, including: Folk Dances, Western Dance Styles & many more.
All the young dancers showcased their incandescent talent. These mesmerizing, powerful, and alluring dancers left the audience awe-struck with their perfect energetic performances. The little dancers are well appreciated by the principal. The zeal among students was such that they couldn’t help tapping their feet to the traditional music, too. The school auditorium pulsated with scintillating music and a lively crowd. All the participants were awarded the “Certificate of Participation” and (A BEAUTIFUL HANDMADE SASH) as a special gift.
The School Principal Ms .Jyoti Dahiya delivered an address, highlighting that dance is not just about its physical advantages, but it also reaches the soul. She emphasised the importance of taking out time to dance often, as it brings joy and is beneficial for the soul. She also mentioned that dance is not only meant for girls, and times have changed, making everything accessible to everyone. The bright faces and happy smiles were ample proof that the event was a grand success.
