Haryana government committed to prevent illegal mining, Mining officers conducting day-and-night inspections with their teams

Faridabad/Alive News: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini is focusing not only on infrastructure development of the state but also on effective compliance with government regulations. The state government is actively working on the implementation of the welfare scheme along with monitoring their execution on grassroot level. Through the Mining Department, the Haryana government is managing the exploration, development, and management of mineral resources in the state.

Director General, Mining Department, Sh. K.M. Pandurang said that the government is committed to curb illegal mining.Officers have been directed to monitor activities regularly. The state government has a strict watch on illegal mining and mineral transportation without e-Rawaana bills, and strict action is being taken against violators.

District Mining Officer, Smt. Kamlesh Bidhlan said that, as per the directions of Director General, Sh. K.M. Pandurang, and under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner, Sh. Vikram Singh, strict measures have been taken since January to prevent illegal mining and operation of mineral vehicles without e-Rawaana bills. She herself is actively inspecting mineral transport vehicles on national and state highways, including the Yamuna river area, she added.

She further said that her team is monitoring across the district to prevent illegal mining around the clock. Wherever violations are found, appropriate action is taken in compliance with the prescribed rules. She further said that no illegal mining has been found in the Yamuna river or other areas so far. Besides this, her team is checking e-Rawaana bills of mineral transport vehicles as well.
