Faridabad/ Alive News: G.B.L Convent School, Sector-49 celebrated Earth day with great fanfare. On this occasion, the programme sailed ahead with lamp lighting and then the children presented a poem on save environment. The children along with their school principal planted tree in the school courtyard. The students of classes 4 to 8 as Anamika, Supriya, Yash, Harsh, Kashish and Anjali presented the importance of tree plantation.
During this, the school principal, Harish Chugh while telling value of tree plantation to the children motivated them to do same. He said our existence is in danger. Due to lack of tree plantation, temperature is increasing rapidly, by which it is not raining, water level is going down, crops are drying. We must be aware towards environment, he added.
Similarly, the school manager Rajan Bhalla said our land is our mother and is our duty to keep it clean and green. He further said children you all are future of the country and you have to run and save the country.
