Faridabad/ Alive News: The thirteen children from Bal Bhavan participated in two-day Carrom tournament conducted by District Carrom Association in DAV School, NH-3, Faridabad here on March, 28 today. Showing their best performance in the championship four children out of them named Sakshi –first, Deepmala- Second and Baljeet- Second and Giriraj- Third achieved trophy.
After winning the contest, District Child Welfare Officers, Anil Malik and Uday Chand organized a programme to promote the differently-abled children. During this the children along with their parents and all employees of Bal Bhawan enjoyed a lot in the programme.
At the end, Mahendra Sharma, General Secretary of Carom Association congratulated the children and said any barrier cannot stop children to achieve their goals, but is the need to show them right path. He further said we regularly conduct this programme for the differently abled children, so that their intelligence can develop.
