Faridabad/Alive News: Faridabad Model School, Sector-31, has once again proved its excellence by winning top honours at the CBSE Regional Science Exhibition 2025 held in Gurugram. The two-day exhibition was based on the theme “STEM for a Developed and Self-Reliant India”, and saw participation from 98 schools and 167 teams.
The project titled “Noise to Energy Harvester”, created by Class VIII students Akshay Gupta and Vivaan Kalsi, was awarded Best Project. Their innovative model shows how unwanted noise in cities can be converted into useful electrical energy, offering a new idea for clean and renewable power. Their clear explanation, strong scientific understanding, and practical approach impressed all judges and visitors. The duo has now qualified for the National Level CBSE Science Exhibition.
The project received appreciation from respected jury members, including R. P. Singh (Director, CBSE), Satish Kumar (Deputy Secretary, SCERT), and Krishan Kumar Gaur (Head, DRIIV, S&T Cluster, Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India). They praised the students for their creativity, clarity, and the potential of their idea to support India’s green energy mission.
FMS Academic Director Mrs. Shashi Bala and Director Principal Mr. Umang Malik congratulated the students and their mentors. They said this achievement is a proud moment for the school and will inspire many young minds to work on real-world problems with innovative solutions.
