Faridabad/Alive News: Model School celebrated the 80th Independence Day on August 15 with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The event was attended by Director Mr. Umang Malik, Interactors, and members of Rotary Club Aastha, Faridabad.
The celebration began with the flag-hoisting ceremony, followed by a tribute to the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the country. Students of the Interact Clubs of FMS and Jiva Public School, along with Rotarians, participated actively in the programme.
A tree plantation drive was also organised at the Green Belt near Faridabad Model School. Students and Rotarians planted saplings and highlighted the importance of protecting the environment.
The event promoted the values of patriotism, unity, social service and environmental responsibility. It concluded with a pledge to contribute towards a better society and a greener future.
