Faridabad/Alive News: Filmmakers and producers Nikkhil Advani, Abhishek Chaubey, RS Prasanna, and Siddharth Jain came together for an engaging session titled “Page to Screen: Producing & Directing Original Source Material” at CineXchange, held as part of IFFD 2026. The session was moderated by film critic Mayank Shekhar.
During the discussion, the panel shared insights on how filmmakers balance originality while adapting stories from written material. They spoke about the creative challenges involved in turning books and scripts into compelling visual narratives for the screen.
The speakers also highlighted the growing influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in filmmaking. They noted that AI is changing many aspects of cinema, from script development to production processes. However, they emphasized that despite technological advancements, human storytelling remains the most important element in filmmaking.
