Faridabad/ Alive News: An eye checkup camp was held by Punjabi Vikas Sabha (Reg) Jawahar Colony, NIT Faridabad and courtesy of Lions Club Maitri Faridabad in New Light Senior Secondary School, Saran School road, Jawahar colony, Faridabad here today. About 295 eye patients got their eye tested free of cost in the camp, in which 55 cataract patients were identified and their operation will be done free of cost in Lions Hospital and Research Center, New Delhi.
During this, Ved Prakash (SHO) police station Saran and Ravi Gandhi as guest were present on the occasion. The guests inaugurated the camp, asked patients about their health and assured to help in all public service organized by Punjabi Vikas Sabhai in future.
Punjabi Vikas Sabha spokesman and Treasurer Darshan Lal Kukreja told that the sabha has inaugurated 11th free of cost eye camp, in which 3500 people have tested their eyes and 550 people have had a free lens and operation done.
The Chairman of Punjabi Vikas Sabha, Surendra Sharma, Pradhan Trilok Gulyani, senior advisor Ved Prakash, senior deputy prime and the chairman of New Light Public School Rajiv Batra, General Secretary Bhushan Munjal,Treasurer Darshan Lal Kukreja, Patron Sriram Singh Ahuja and all office bearers full supported to make the programme success.
