Faridabad: December-16, 1971 our brave soldiers lose badly to the soldiers of Pakistan. Unfortunately, in which some our soldiers were martyrdom of Bharat Mata (Indian Mother) in the fight. Remembering their sacrifice the same day, retired soldiers of Faridabad district gathered at the city’s town park on the eve of Shaheedi Diwas (Martyrs’ Day). While the city’s deputy commissioner Dr. Amit Kumar Agarwal as a chief guest gave tribute to martyrdom and remembered them gracefully.

Because our late chairman Dr. O.P bhalla had special regard for the soldiers, therefore you may see several from general sir to soldiers are working different department of the university.
However, several schools’ children of the city performed patriotic songs and arts, resulting each and every gathering people’s eyes filled with tears.
Extending towards the end of the programme, Ex-soldier & Haryana Institute of Industrial Security owner, Sita Ram Sharma distributed blanket to the martyr’s family. In his few words he said these widows who have lost their father, husband and sons is a precious gift for security of the country. It is our responsibility to extant with them in all circumstances.
