Faridabad/ Alive News: In view of the intense cold, all schools (the Govt. schools, Govt. aided schools & Private Schools) in the state have been asked to remain close from December 25 to January 8, 2018. This notification the office of Director Secondary Education Haryana Panchkula issued on Friday.
The extension of the winter vacation has been necessitated owing to the drop in temperature and concern for school-going children, the officer Rajiv Rattan, Director Secondary Education Haryana Panchkula added.
As stated in the notifications that in Exercise of the powers conferred by rule 20 (II) of Haryana School Education Rules 2003 and the orders of the Govt. to keep the school closed for 15 days in winters, it hereby ordered that all the Govt. Schools, Govt. aided Schools & Private Schools will remain closed from December 25 to January 8, 2018 on account of winter vacations. All the Schools in the state of Haryana are directed to ensure the compliance of the orders.
