Diwali Celebration Spreads Light and Joy at DAV School NH-3

Faridabad/Alive News: DAV Public School, NH-3, NIT celebrated Diwali, the Festival of Lights, with great joy and devotion. The school campus was beautifully decorated and filled with happiness, symbolizing the victory of light over darkness and good over evil.

The programme began with the chanting of the Gayatri Mantra, seeking divine blessings for peace and prosperity. The guests of honour Dr. N. K. Uberoi (Chairman of the school), Dr. Prince Parekh (school alumnus), and RJ Bhawna Sharma (renowned radio personality) were warmly welcomed by Principal Ms. Jyoti Dahiya, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, representing knowledge and positivity.

Students presented a skit on Eco-Friendly Diwali, encouraging everyone to celebrate responsibly and protect the environment. A colourful dance-drama performance and a soulful Lakshmi Aarti added devotion and festive cheer to the occasion. The Ram Katha performance depicting the triumph of Lord Rama deeply moved the audience.

The guests appreciated the students’ performances, creativity, and discipline, praising their efforts to uphold culture and values. Principal Ms. Dahiya thanked the teachers and students for making the event successful and urged everyone to celebrate Diwali with happiness, unity, and care for the environment.

The event concluded with the Shanti Path, spreading a message of peace, harmony, and goodwill  truly reflecting the spirit of Diwali.
