Faridabad/ Alive News: Whatever, the health department is claiming of pre-preparation of anti-Malaria or anti-Dengue, but its claim is proving hollow in Faridabad district. Because with starting of the rainy season almost 9 to 10 cases of Dengue and Malaria have been reported so far and sure this ratio might increase if action would be not taken soon.
However, the effected patients who have been identified by the health department have come from private hospitals and are under treated. Actually, a team has been formed from the department to keep eye on patients admitted in private hospitals. Apart from this, order has been given to collect blood slide of their parents and drug has been sprayed nearby the victims houses.
“Viral fever in the season is common, but this fever might be dengue or malaria. The patient develops a high fever, which comes and goes. The pattern of fevers may vary according to the species of malaria. However, there does not have to be a pattern to the fever. Initially, malaria feels like the flu with high fever, fatigue and body aches, with hot and cold stages. Signs and symptoms in children may be nonspecific, leading to delays in diagnosis.”
