Faridabad/Alive News: DAV Public School, Sector-49, took a significant step toward educational innovation by hosting a dynamic STEM DLD (Design, Learn, Demonstrate) Workshop for secondary science teachers. The workshop aimed to empower educators with the latest technological tools and teaching methodologies to enhance science education.
Over 40 participants from the region enthusiastically engaged in hands-on sessions, exploring various digital platforms, teaching aids, and interactive experiments. The sessions focused on integrating technology into classroom instruction to make science more engaging and application-based for students.
Educators demonstrated innovative ways to explain complex scientific concepts using simulations and inquiry-based learning. A total of 16 presentations were shortlisted by the Appreciation Committee, which comprised Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Mishra, Associate Professor at Zakir Hussain College, Delhi University, and Dr. Yamal Gupta, Botany Lecturer at Kirori Mal College, Delhi University. These esteemed experts further evaluated the shortlisted projects and selected the top two innovative projects for special recognition.
During the event, the honourable principal of the school, Mr. Rajan Gautam, emphasised the importance of keeping pace with modern teaching practices. “Workshops like these bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application. Our goal is to create classrooms where curiosity thrives,” he said.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks and a shared commitment to continue fostering innovation in science education.
