Faridabad/ Alive News: D.A.V. Public School, Sector 37, Faridabad organised an Adventure Day Camp for the students of Class V on 10th March, 2018 in which about 200 children participated. The objective of the event was to inculcate team-spirit, enhance self-confidence and foster leadership skills among students.
They also learnt the art of handling situations independently in a disciplined manner. The excited students started their day by performing a hawan, which was conducted by them under the able guidance of their teachers.
The School Principal, Deepti Jagota, blessed them and encouraged them to enjoy their day to the hilt but with caution and in a disciplined manner. After a sumptuous breakfast, they forayed into a day packed with a plethora of thrilling and fun-filled activities. The children had a great time by indulging in various adventurous sports like Zorbing, Burma Bridge, Shalimar, Sport climbing, Commando Net, Hamster Bridge to name a few. The Supervisor of the Primary Segment, Sadhna Bhat, enthusiastically encouraged the students to participate in all the events.
The Class Coordinator, Archana Chibber, left no stone unturned to ensure the safety of the children and smooth functioning of the event. The school campus echoed with slogans showcasing their enthusiasm and team spirit. The day culminated with the Magic Show which was thoroughly enjoyed by the children. They were spell-bound as the Magician entwined them in his magical web with his enchanting tricks. The children dispersed cherishing the memories of the fun-filled day.
