Faridabd/Alive News: DAV Public School Sector-49 organised an interactive workshop led by the eminent guests from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico.
The workshop began with the lighting of the auspicious lamp. The Principal of the school, Shri Rajan Gautam extended a warm welcome to the esteemed dignitaries, Dr. Rafael Ramirez Rivera, President; Dr. Juan A Negron Berrios, Chancellor and Dr. Alok Arjun, Associate Professor of the university with the garlands of flowers.
The students showcased their rich heritage through captivating display of various dances. A video on Unity in Diversity potrayed the rich cultural heritage of the country. The workshop led by the school not only provided valuable insights into educational system but also facilitated a profound cultural exchange.
The guests provided an in-depth overview of their Inter American University of Puerto Rico (IAUPR) discussing its rich history, academic reputation and global standing. Emphasizing the diverse range of programs offered, the presentation highlighted the university’s commitment to academic excellence and research driven education. Overall, the workshop served as a reminder of the vast possibilities that lie ahead for the students to venture beyond their comfort zones and embrace the challenges and rewards of studying in a foreign country.
The school administration expressed gratitude to the dignitaries for sharing valuable insights and fostering a spirit of global academic exploration among the students. The programme ended with the recital of National Anthem.
