Mothers hold their
children’s hands for a short while,
but their hearts forever.
Faridabad/Alive News : A special assembly has been organized in DAV Public School NH-3 NIT Faridabad on Mother’s Day. The program was initiated with Gayatri Mantra. After that honoring the mothers, the Principal of the school, Mrs. Jyoti Dahiya lit the lamp along with the present parents and children.
The program progressed with performances presented by the mothers. Various programs were organized for students from class LKG to V. On this occasion, the mothers enthralled the audience with songs, dances and other attractive performances, fathers also gave very impressive performance during the cricket match. Audience encouraged them with a big round of applause. After that all the parents were honored by the Principal.
To highlight the importance of this day a short skit based was presented in which parents showed how a lower class sacrifices everything to make their children capable of teaching in a good school. After that the students of classes LKG to class II presented their poems on the occasion of Mothers Day. And the students of class VIII presented a song.
After that the students of class IV presented a dance, based on the life of the mother. The power-packed performance set the stage on fire. Everyone encouraged the participants with loud clapping.
After the program, an activity has been organized from classes LKG to class VIII, in which all the classes and students participated enthusiastically. The students of classes LKG to class III made greeting cards, students of class IV made wristbands and the students of class V made paper flowers.
All the students displayed their art skills according to their ability. School principal Ms. Jyoti Dahiya applauded the efforts of all the children, parents and the teachers who made the program a great success.
The entire programme was applauded by everybody present and will always remain etched in the memory of one and all.
