Faridabad/Alive News : The Kindergarten of DAV NH-3, NIT celebrated Christmas with great ardour and zest on Friday in the school premises. The school wore a festive look with bells, streamers and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. A special assembly was conducted wherein children were told about the birth of Lord Jesus and the Santa Claus.
It commenced with a short informative speech highlighting the importance of the Christmas eve which was delivered by Viraaj & Vrinda of grade 2 Several activities such as decorating Christmas Trees and Stockings, making Christmas Cards and Hand-crafted bells were organized for the students.
Little ones of classes Nursery to II tapped their feet & danced gracefully on the beat of Christmas songs “Jingle Bells” & “We wish you a Merry Christmas”. The whole school echoed with the holy hymns recited by the students.
The dazzling entry of Santa Claus added to the joy and excitement of the students. The spirit of giving and sharing was inculcated among the tiny tots. Students also relished their favourite cakes and pastries which was indeed an icing on the top.
The boundless joy of celebrating the festival was amply visible on the faces of the children especially when Santa moved around distributing sweets & candies to them. All the teachers joined the students with the same enthusiasm, spreading the message of love and joy among the children.
At the end, the School Principal Ms. Jyoti Dahiya congratulated the DAVians and appreciated the efforts of students and also wished them Merry Christmas!! It was a joyous and amusing programme for everyone.
