Faridabad/Alive News : DAV Public School NH-3 NIT celebrated Raksha Bandhan with full zeal, endeavour, and patriotic spirit. The event aimed to instil the values of love, protection, respect, and environmental care among the students.
The programme began with a beautiful group dance presented by the students, showcasing the joy and cultural significance of this festival.
The tiny tots, in traditional attires, enthusiastically participated in tying rakhi on the wrist of their brothers, whereas the brothers gave their sisters some gift or sweets. The vibrant, colourful attires and innocent smiles brightened the ambience and lifted the spirit.
A role play was performed in which students enacted the tradition of tying rakhi to a brother, a sainik (soldier), and even to a tree to spread the message of protecting nature. This heart-warming act highlighted the values of love, respect, and responsibility towards family, the nation, and the environment.
The highlight of the day was the Handmade Rakhi Exhibition, where students showcased their creativity using eco-friendly and waste materials. The display featured rakhis of various colours, designs, and sizes, reflecting the imagination and skills of the young creators.
In the end, the school principal, Mrs. Jyoti Dahiya wished the students Happy Raksha Bandhan & emphasized the significance of this festival & appreciated the efforts of the children.
