Faridabad/Alive News: “Teachers can change lives with just the right mix of chalk and challenges.” The Birthday of Dr. Radhakrishnan, the former president of our country India is celebrated as Teacher’s Day in order to highlight the specialty and greatness of the teachers and their works.
Teacher’s Day was celebrated at DAV Public School, NH3, NIT, Faridabad with zeal and zest on September 5, 2023. There was an unusual excitement in the school atmosphere which was quite contagious.
The students of class XII took over the duties of the teachers for the day. A morning assembly was held by the students in which the students paid tribute to the great teacher Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan through poems, speech, songs etc.
The Principal, Ms. Jyoti Dahiya , addressing the entire school, urged students to maintain the bequest of emanating teachers for dedication , sincerity, hard work and lauded the entire staff for their exemplary contribution to the school’s phenomenal success. She extolled the role of teachers in a student’s life.
The Principal appreciated the sincerest efforts of the teachers in playing a catalytic role in the holistic development of every student.
There was a special celebration for teachers organized which included fun games like – Tambala, Group Hop Game, performances and many more to make the child within come alive. A grand lunch was a part of the celebration.
