Faridabad/Alive News: The DAV Sports State (Zonal) Level Handball Tournament hosted by DAV Public School, Sector 49, Faridabad came to an exhilarating close today. The event, which spanned from 25 September 2024 – 26 September 2024 witnessed fierce competition among teams from various districts in Haryana. Teams in the U-14, U-17, and U-19 categories representing DAV schools from Kurukshetra, Gurugram, Narnaul, Kaithal, Bhondsi, Ambala and Faridabad district showcased their handball prowess throughout the tournament.
In a display of skill and determination, DAV Public School, Gurugram emerged as the dominant force and claimed victory in both age categories U-14 boys and U-17 boys. DAV Public School, NH-3, Faridabad emerged victorious in the U-19 category. U-14 and U-17 girls’ teams of DAV Public School, Sector 49, Faridabad secured first position in their respective categories, showcasing their exceptional talent on the field, and DAV Public School, Gurugram’s girls’ team secured the first position in the U-19 category.
The Principal, Rajan Gautam expressed his heartfelt congratulations to all the participants for their dedication and sportsmanship.
