Faridabad/Alive News: Diwali Mela cum Carnival organised at DAV Public School, Sec-49 under the guidance of the Principal , Rajan Gautam, was a resounding success. Dr.Vinod Kaushik, CEO and Director of Kaushik Physio Clinic was the chief guest of the occasion.
The guests of honour – Abhishek Bainsla (MC Square), an illustrious alumnus of DAV-49 from the 2015 batch and the winner of MTV Hustle 2, Neelam Bhalla, the founder Principal of DAV 49, Anju Bhadana, Jaiveer Khatana, Sheetal Khatana along with other dignitaries graced the occasion.
The festivities began with an opening ceremony wherein, the guests and the dignitaries gathered around the ceremonial ribbon cutting while colourful balloons filled the sky, creating a festive atmosphere which continued with traditional hawan, invoking blessings for a prosperous Diwali.
The cultural programme that followed was a dazzling spectacle of talent and artistry. It commenced with Ganesha Vandana and featured a variety of solo and group dance and music performances adding vibrancy to the atmosphere. A nukkad natika focussing on the theme of education, yoga, bollywood fashion show and stand-up comedy were also a part of the programme.
An array of stalls, including games, decorative items, food, and rides indulged the gathering in a day of shopping, dining and entertainment. The Diwali Mela was a delightful celebration of culture and community, highlighted by the presence of distinguished guests, engaging performances and a variety of activities for all to enjoy. The programme ended with the recital of Shanti Path followed by National Anthem.
