Faridabad/Alive News: Public School, NTPC Faridabad recently organized a grand event that showcased the artistic talent and sports achievements of its students. The celebration, held on November 18, 2025, highlighted the theme “Developed India” and reflected the school’s commitment to overall student development.
The event included a painting competition and the Annual Sports Awards ceremony. Several distinguished guests attended, including Dr. Anshu Singla (District Education Officer), Mr. Ramesh Dagar (President, Educators Club), and Mr. Harbir Singh (AEO). Senior officials like Mr. Manoj Pathak (Deputy Director, C&AG), Mr. Arvind Babu (CGM Finance), and Mr. Ashutosh Satpati (HOP, Faridabad and Badarpur) were also present.
During the Sports Awards ceremony, the school honored student athletes who won medals at state and national levels in sports such as Kho-Kho, Football, Karate, Taekwondo, Judo, Skipping Rope, Weightlifting, Boxing, and Athletics. Students achieved 35 gold, 13 silver, and 11 bronze medals at the state level, and 4 gold, 3 silver, and 7 bronze medals at the DAV National Sports.
The chief guests presented 11 trophies to teams in the Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 categories for their outstanding performances. Dr. Anshu Singla praised the athletes and encouraged them to stay healthy and continue excelling.
A painting competition was also organized as part of NTPC’s National Audit Day. Seventy-five students from classes 6 to 12 participated, creating artworks based on the theme “Developed India” and showing NTPC’s contribution to the energy sector. Winners received cash prizes, and the school congratulated them warmly.
Principal Mrs. Alka Arora highlighted the importance of both art and sports in shaping a student’s personality. She said that these activities have strengthened the school’s aim of achieving excellence in academics and co-curricular fields. NTPC’s HOP, Mr. Ashutosh Satpati, thanked all the guests for their support and encouragement.
