Faridabad/Alive News: DAV Public School, NTPC Faridabad celebrated Children’s Day on November 14, 2025, by organizing a lively and joyful Annual Athletic Meet. The event was filled with excitement, energy, and sportsmanship, reflecting the school’s commitment to the all-round development of its students.
Chief Guest Suman Rawat, wife of Assistant Commandant Vikram Singh Rawat (CISF), and Special Guest Monica Panwar, wife of Sumit Panwar (DSP, District Jail, Faridabad), graced the occasion. Principal Alka Arora welcomed them warmly and appreciated the inspiring presence of families serving in security services.
The program began with the traditional lamp-lighting and a serene Ganesh Vandana. Students then impressed the audience with colorful dance performances.
Children from Nursery to Class 2 took part in various fun races with great enthusiasm. Special Children’s Day races for parents and grandparents added more joy to the event. Winners of the coloring competition also received storybooks as prizes.
Chief Guest Suman Rawat praised the school for promoting sports and helping students become confident and well-rounded individuals. Special Guest Monica Panwar emphasized that sports help children learn discipline, patience, and teamwork.
