Faridabad/Alive News: DAV Public School, NH-3, NIT, Faridabad, organised an Inter-House Solo Singing Competition for students of Classes III to X. The school campus came alive with beautiful melodies, confidence, and enthusiasm as students showcased their singing talent.
The competition was conducted in two categories Classes III-VIII and Classes IX-X with different themes for each group. Students delivered soulful performances that highlighted their vocal skills, creativity, stage confidence, and passion for music.
The event began with a warm welcome for the judges, Ms. Manpreet Kaur and Ms. Mehak Sharma, who are proud alumni of the school. Principal Mr. Tarun Prakash welcomed the judges by presenting them with eco-friendly planters as a symbol of gratitude and environmental responsibility.
The programme was smoothly hosted by Sneha and Lavanya of Class XII, who impressed everyone with their confidence and excellent anchoring skills.
All participants performed with great dedication and enthusiasm, making the competition inspiring and memorable. The special moments of the event were captured through photography by Nazma, Arhaan, Ryan, and Mannat from Classes XII and IX.
Based on the overall scores, Dayanand House secured the First Position, Virjanand House stood Second, and Hansraj House achieved the Third Position. The winners were appreciated for their outstanding performances and team spirit.
The competition concluded with encouraging words from Principal Mr. Tarun Prakash, who praised the students for their passion and appreciated the efforts of the Music Department and organisers. The event celebrated the joy of music, creativity, and healthy competition among students.
