DAV NH3 celebrated Baisakhi and Ambedkar Jayanti

Faridabad/Alive News : To sustain the pious Indian fervor and culture, festivals and Jayantis are celebrated in DAVPS NH-3 to revive the old traditional values and connect students to their ancient roots. The premises of the school reverberated with celebrations today. A special assembly was held to mark the occasion. The festival of Baisakhi and Ambedkar

Jayanti was celebrated in DAVPS NH-3,NIT on 12 April 2024.  The celebration began with the speech given by Shivanshika of class II- (B). The colourful culture of Punjab was portrayed by some students through Solo dance performances.Jubilant Kids of class UKG II presented the Punjabi folk dance. I. The teachers told the children the importance of the festival on this day Guru Gobind Singh selected the Panj Piaras established Khalsa Panth. The purpose was to make them aware about historical background of this
festival.

To pay tribute to Dr.B.R Ambedkar the birth anniversary of Baba saheb was celebrated by DAVians on the same day. Teachers taught the students about his remarkable contribution in framing the entire Indian Constitution after independence. They also learned the fundamental rights and duties of every citizen of India as stated in the Constitution of India.

At the end the school Principal Jyoti Dahiya spoke on the impact and significance of Baba Saheb’s ideology during the freedom struggle. She motivated the students to follow in his footsteps and inculcate his values in their lives to achieve their aim and uplift society wished the students Happy Baisakhi emphasized the significance of this festival appreciated the efforts
of the children.
