DAV NH-3 School Hosts “Parichay – The Meet” to Welcome New Session and Engage Parents

Faridabad/Alive News: DAV NH-3 Public School organized “Parichay – The Meet” on Saturday to mark the beginning of the new academic session and to strengthen the connection between parents, teachers, and students.

The programme started with a Ganesh Vandana, followed by colorful cultural performances by students, showcasing their talent and confidence.

A major highlight of the event was the interactive activities planned for parents. Through games, fun tasks, and role-play, parents were introduced to play-based learning as recommended in the New Education Policy (NEP). These activities helped parents understand how learning through play can improve creativity, thinking skills, and social development in children.

The school also introduced new notebooks designed according to NEP guidelines, focusing on activity-based and experiential learning. Teachers explained how these notebooks will help students develop better understanding and independent thinking.

A detailed PowerPoint presentation was shown, explaining the academic plan, teaching methods, and co-curricular activities for the new session. The school also announced a new uniform for students.

School Principal Mrs. Jyoti Dahiya addressed the parents and highlighted the importance of strong cooperation between parents and teachers for the overall development of children.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Supervisor Mrs. Mukta Puri, who appreciated the parents for their support and participation.

Overall, “Parichay – The Meet” was a successful event that gave parents a clear understanding of the school’s vision and modern teaching approach.
