Faridabad/Alive News: To pay tribute to the Father of the Nation on his birth anniversary, DAV NH-3, NIT organized a cleanliness drive in the school premises on Friday. This program was organized to promote the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan run by the government. The Principal participated in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan along with staff members and students.
The program started with a speech given by Shivanshika of Class-I(A), highlighting the importance of the day. Naitik of Class-II(A) presented today’s idea and remembered Bapu. This was followed by recitation of ‘Gandhi Ji’s Monkey Three’ by Kanishka of UKG(A), she said that the three rules mentioned are – “See no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil” in life. Students were asked to prepare banners on the teachings of Lal Bahadur Shastri. They confidently raised slogans with banners and filled the atmosphere with patriotism. In the end, school principal Jyoti Dahiya said that today’s children are the citizens of tomorrow. Therefore, it is necessary to inculcate civic spirit and sense of duty in them and shower our blessings on them. The program was very successful. The mission involves cleaning the classrooms, their surroundings and the play area.
