Faridabad/ Alive News: the 67th Republic Day of India was celebrated at DAV Public School with a great deal of patriotic zeal and fervor. The day began with the hoisting of the Indian flag by our principal, Mrs. Joyti Dahiya, followed by the National Anthem.
The entire school courtyard reverberated with the rhythmic beats of “Jai Hind” the speech presented by Jaskaran of class-II was a solemn reminder of country.
A special tribute was paid to soldiers through Ae Mere Watan Ke Logo, the patriotic song. The young buds of class LKG& UKG danced on the tune of “Suno gaur se duniya walo’ with the tricolor flags fluttering in the air. A broad smile could be seen on everyone’s face when the excited students of class-I& II tapped their feet on “Chak de INDIA”
The programme concluded with very inspiring speech given by the principal of the school, Mrs. Jyoti Dahiya. Overall it was day full of patriotism.
