Faridabad/Alive News: Earth day is an annual event celebrated around the world on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. With an aim to raise awareness about the need to protect and conserve our planet, DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL, NH-3 ,Faridabad celebrated Earth Day.
A special assembly marked the event. The students & staff members took active part in various activities. The main aim of the event was to motivate & spread awareness among the students on some ways to save the MOTHER EARTH.
The program began with a thought given by Pavni of class UKG(a).Then Ram of class II(a) has given a thoughtful speech on the “Save earth” & many more students also presented the valuable views on the Earth Day & won the hearts of the audience.
The students learnt the importance of our natural resources and promised to save water, trees, energy and use them judiciously. The students from Classes III-V showed great interest in Paper Folding activity, beautiful Slogans were written by the students of Classes VI & VII showing their concern to save mother Earth.
At the end school Principal Jyoti Dahiya guiding the students to work for the environment & gave valuable information on how to save natural resources. Overall the event was a grand success.
