Faridabad/Alive News: Mother’s Day is a special day of the year, dedicated to all mothers. It is celebrated all over the world. Mothers hold a special place in the hearts of children. It is a holiday honoring motherhood that is observed in different forms throughout the world.While dates and celebrations vary, Mother’s Day traditionally involves presenting moms with flowers, cards and other gifts.
Every year in India, Mother’s Day is celebrated to appreciate mothers, who play an immensely important role in one’s life. This special day is celebrated every year on the second Sunday of May. DAV NH-3,honored their mothers on this special occasion. A special virtual assembly was conducted, in which mothers were specially invited to participate and show their talent. It was a pleasure watching the super excited MOMS full of energy & enthusiasm.
Kindergarten Wing celebrated this most special day with lots of fun filled activities & some memorable performances by our little ones They came up with their presentations of melodious songs, wonderful lines & rhymes & above all showed their creativity by making beautiful cards and helping their moms in different ways.
Whereas interesting activities were conducted for Classes 3-5 to mark the significance of the day. Yakshangi, Janvi, Abhina, Nirbhay, Anshul, Akansha, Prayas, Pranjal, Hargun and Vanshika Upadhyay of classes III- V prepared beautiful origami cards and multipurpose boxes. The students worked creatively and with a great zeal.
Mothers, while expressing their feelings on the occasion, appreciated the efforts of school authorities for the unique idea of involving the children also in such celebrations.
Jyoti Dahiya, the Principal of School thanked all the Mothers & expressed her joy and happiness . She admired the wonderful art work done by the students.
