Faridabad/Alive News : DAV NH-3 , celebrated earth day on Monday with great deal of enthusiasm. A special assembly marked the event with the theme. The students and staff members took active part in various activities. The main aim of the event was to motivate & spread awareness among the students on some ways to save the mother Earth.
The program began with a thoughtful speech delivered by Zoya of class II. Then little ones of LKG presented the valuable views on the Earth Day and were informed about the importance of Earth day.
Afterwards, Students were involved in lots of different activities like Thumb printing, Hand printing & leaf printing etc. Jubilant kids of class II had presented the dance on “kaato mat mujhe’’ won the hearts of the audience.
The students participated in all the activities with great ardour thus made it successful. They pledged to spread the awareness for growing more trees. A little efforts made by each of us can make a huge difference to the overall environment of Earth. At the end school Principal Jyoti Dahiya guiding the students to work for the environment gave valuable information about “Dry and Wet Garbage segregation” and save natural resources.
