Faridabad/Alive News: D.A.V. Public School, Sector-37, Faridabad organized its Annual Tech Festival “Evolve’ 24” on 16th November, 2024. It was with great pride and zeal, the school celebrated the 16th year of this grand event, which is eagerly looked forward by one and all.
The event commenced with Gayatri Mantra and lighting of the lamp by the School Principal Deepti Jagota and the Supervisory Heads. In her inaugural address, the Principal urged the students to be tech-savvy, but in a responsible way. With constant distractions and overuse of technology, it has become all the more important to take definite steps to safeguard the mental health. She emphasized on setting boundaries, practicing mindfulness, and prioritizing real-life connections to reclaim our focus, reduce stress, and foster a greater sense of well-being.
Around 220 students from 26 schools of Delhi – NCR participated in both online and offline events making it a huge success. The Tech Fest showcased a wide range of events like Gear It Up, Ad It Up, Reel It Up, Paint It Up, Quiz It Up and Jersey Mania to name a few. These competitions were judged by the proud Alumni of the school. The Principal lauded the efforts of students and the Computer Department. The event concluded with Prize Distribution Ceremony and Shanti Path.
