Faridabad/Alive News: Independence Day was celebrated by the Kindergarten Wing at D.A.V. Public School, Sainik Colony, Sector 49 on 6 August. Patriotic fervour marked the celebrations with the theme
“Maa tujhe Salaam”.
The programme commenced with the prayer sung by the School Choir. It was
followed by the presentation of inspiring quotations by the students of UKG
that impressed one and all. The budding poets of Kindergarten Wing gave a recital of poems, ‘My Mother is My Life’and’Maa.
The blossoming DAVites mesmerised the
audience with their talent. The well orchestrated programme included other items like rendition of patriotic slogans, which touched the hearts ofall and evoked a feeling patriotism. A dazzling dance performance by a tiny tot enthralled everyone present.
The Principal, B.K. Das addressed the gathering and appealed to take
pride in being an Indian and fulfilling one’s duty and responsibility towards
the nation and the world. The colourlirl cultural programme concluded with the rendition of Shanti Path and the tribute to the nation in the form ofNational Anthem.
