Faridabad/Alive News: D.A.V. Public School, Sector-37, Faridabad, organized a Cyber Security Awareness Programme under the guidance of Principal Ms. Deepti Jagota and the initiative of the Connect to Computer Club (C2C Club).
The seminar was conducted by Mr. Dheeraj Saraswat and Mr. Kuldeep Chaudhary from the Cyber Crime Branch. It aimed to teach Class V students about safe online practices and how to protect themselves from cyber threats.
The officials shared useful information about government websites such as www.ceir.gov.in and www.cybercrime.gov.in, the helpline number 1930, and the importance of using two-factor authentication on WhatsApp and other platforms.
Students from the C2C Club and school council members presented slogans promoting cyber safety. The officers also answered various questions raised by the students about cybercrimes.
The event was coordinated under the supervision of Ms. Adarsh Sharma, Supervisory Head of the Pre-Primary and Primary Segment, who praised the C2C Club’s efforts in promoting cyber awareness among young learners.
Overall, the programme was informative and engaging, helping students become smart, safe, and responsible digital citizens.
