Faridabad/Alive News: The Department of Communication and Media Technology, under its creative wing Drishya: The Creative Canvas Club, organized a Master class titled ‘Design Sense’ on wednesday at the C.V. Raman Block of J. C. Bose University of Science & Technology, YMCA Faridabad. The master class was graced by Dr. Neeraj Sahay, who served as the Guest Speaker and shared his valuable insights on the fundamentals of design, creativity, and visual storytelling.
Through engaging examples and interactive discussions, Dr. Sahay guided students on how design influences perception and communication in modern media. The session covered topics such as color theory, typography, visual hierarchy, composition balance, and the psychological impact of design elements. Students also learned how to translate conceptual ideas into effective visual outcomes through hands-on exercises and real-world design case studies.
“Design Sense” served as an inspiring platform for students to refine their artistic perception and strengthen their creative approach to visual media projects. The event commenced with an inaugural address by Dr. Sonia Hooda, Coordinator of Drishya Club, who emphasized the importance of creative literacy and its relevance to visual communication professionals. The master class witnessed enthusiastic participation from members of the Drishya Club and students of the Visual Communication and Multimedia Technology program.
Prof. Pawan Singh, HOD, CMT, appreciated the efforts of Drishya: The Creative Canvas Club for organizing this insightful master class.
